Tend the Park is the Dulwich Park Friends programme of events that encourages members of the public and organised groups to make a tangible difference to the park. Events are held the first Saturday of most months (except in August and when the weather is too bad) from 10am-1pm. Activities vary throughout the year and include:
- Bulb planting
- Dividing perennials
- Dead-heading
- Care of the lake
- Maintaining the dry garden and winter gardens
Events are announced here on this website, on posters in the park and by email to members. We meet at 10am outside the Francis Peek Centre (the building adjacent to the car park). If you arrive later, a map on the door will show you where we are working. Equipment and refreshments are provided. If an event is cancelled, a message will be posted here as soon as possible – please check, particularly in poor weather.
